Most bands will take a tour, or a series of shows, to assemble what eventually becomes their ‘Live’ album. Bill Toms and his band, Hard Rain side stepped this process by recording one show, on one night in a small, sweaty, rock and roll bar on the outskirts of Pittsburgh Pa. On a warm summer night in June of 2009, at a place called Moondogs, in a small town called Blawnox, this band captured a moment that teems with passion, and a sense of purpose that is very rare in these times..
